  • How often do I need to have my oil changed?
  • Every 4 months or 4,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

  • Can I change the motor oil myself?
  • No. Your vehicle's motor oil has to be changed at a commercial facility and provide verifiable computerized receipts. Handwritten receipts are not accepted.

  • What should I do in the event of a claim?
  • Call 800-684-1175 for assistance. You will be asked to take your vehicle to an ASE Certified facility for preliminary inspection. Do not authorize disassembly of any component before repair facility has called Autosave® for prior authorization.

  • Can I be reimbursed for completed repairs?
  • Yes, but only if prior authorization has been given by the Autosave® claim's department.

  • Can I transfer my warranty?
  • Yes. Transfers are decided on a case by case basis, after reviewing maintenance records and other pertinent information. Maintenance documents will be requested for a transfer request.

  • When will I receive my Autosave® Product and what do I do with it?
  • You will receive your Autosave® Product within 60 days of receipt of your contract. If you purchased your warranty over 60 days ago and have not gotten your Autosave® Product, please contact Autosave® @ 800-684-1175.
